WHO?

We are the Molcjans from Caledon, Ontario, Canada.  Tim, Karen, Matt, Emily and Olivia.  Matt is in his second year of university at Bethel College in Indiana (where my sister and her family live) taking International Development with a Ministry Minor.  We have moved back to Canada after spending 9 months in Kampala.  We will be traveling back and forth every 2-3 months to keep on top of and fund the many projects that have been started . Emily 17, and Olivia, 9 are being schooled in Canada this year.  Tim is a builder and Karen is a dental hygienist.

WHERE?

Most of our projects that you are reading about are in Kampala Uganda.  We are also begining many other projects in some very needy villages throughout the country side.

WHY?

After spending time in Uganda in October 2006 and March 2007 and doing our best to support a school of 200 orphaned and needy kids from such a huge distance, we made the decision to move to Kampala to do whatever we could to help the poor of the Banda slums and other needy areas with our own hands.   As we support ourselves 100% we have moved back home for now to make some money to fund our school and our lives.  Our only option right now is to go to and frow as we strive to stay on top of all the spending.

HOW?

We have been able to do more than we ever could have imagined in such a short time thanks to so many caring families that have followed our website and are moved to partner with us.

WHAT?

We are involved in lots of different projects from running a school for orphaned and needy children to fixing up and building houses for needy families, giving out microloans, purchasing wheelchairs, distributing mattresses, blankets and mosquito nets, running feeding programs for children, needy mothers and people living with HIV, visiting poor villages and assessing and filling their needs, building a church and school for a nearby town, providing medical care and malaria treatment for kids that can't afford it and whatever else we come across. And just recently, we ran a free dental clinic for 350 needy children and moms.
